Henry Armand Burris Jr. (born June 4, 1975) is a former professional quarterback, now a football coach and a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame. Currently serving as the assistant running back coach for the Los Angeles Rams in the National Football League (NFL), Burris has previously held positions as an offensive quality control coach with the Chicago Bears and Jacksonville Jaguars. His recent involvement with the LA Rams included participation in the Bill Walsh Fellowship.


During his time in LA, Burris was approached by the newly hired Vegas Vipers Head Coach, Anthony Blevins, who offered him the QB coaching role, an offer which he accepted. Burris enjoyed a successful playing career in the Canadian Football League (CFL) from 1998 to 2016, winning three Grey Cup championships. Two of these victories were with the Calgary Stampeders in 1998 and 2008, where he spent a significant portion of his 10-year CFL career. The third championship was secured with the Ottawa Redblacks in 2016.


Burris also had a brief stint in the NFL, playing two seasons with the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears. Apart from his on-field achievements, he contributed to the sports industry as a broadcaster and football analyst at TSN, notably as a panel member on the network's CFL on TSN broadcasts.


Acknowledged for his outstanding contributions, Burris received the CFL's Most Outstanding Player Award in 2010 and 2015. At the time of his retirement, he ranked third in all-time CFL passing yards and passing touchdowns. Throughout his CFL career, Burris was associated with teams such as the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Before venturing into the professional realm, he played college football with the Temple Owls.
